Dr. Shannon received her undergraduate degree from LSU and graduated from Louisiana State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She has been practicing veterinary medicine on the Northshore for more than 17 years.
Dr. Shannon is married to Jim and they have 5 children, Alex, Stephen, Nick, Blake and Ashlyn. Their family also includes 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 1 fish. Dr. Shannon established Little Creek Veterinary Hospital in Mandeville in 2017.
